Crystal Gaiter graduated from Spring Arbor University, where she obtained her Master’s in Social Work. Crystal is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Ohio, who began her career as a community based therapist with youth and adults struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. Crystal has experience assisting clients navigate the criminal justice system and has additional experience in a detox and psychiatric hospital. Crystal specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, depression/self harm, trauma, mood disorders, and conflicts within familial and relational structures.
Crystal is trained in effective use of a variety of evidenced based models, including Motivational Interviewing, Seven Challenges, EQUIP, Seeking Safety, Hip Hop HEALS Prevention for At Risk Youth, Functional Family Therapy, Nurturing Parenting, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Crystal strives to help each client achieve optimal functioning and reach their fullest potential.
